By using the Tamakn app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully; if you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The Service

Tamakn is an app for learning English with Arabic explanations, offering lessons, exercises, review and a motivation system. The learning content is prepared by a team of specialist teachers and we take care that it is accurate, but we do not guarantee reaching a particular level or a result in any official test.

2. Your Account

• You can start with a guest account and later link it to Google, Apple or email so you keep your progress if you change devices. A guest account's progress may be lost if you delete the app before linking it.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your account confidential and for activity that happens through it.
• If you are under 18, use the app with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Free Plan and Premium

• The free plan includes a limited number of attempts each day. Premium unlocks unlimited attempts and the features listed on the in-app subscription page, with no ads.
• Subscriptions are bought through the App Store or Google Play and renew automatically at the price shown to you in the app at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
• You manage or cancel your subscription in your store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
• Refund requests follow Apple's or Google's policy; we do not process payments directly.
• Prices and features may change; any price change is announced before it applies to your subscription, under the store's rules.

4. Rewarded Ads

If you wish, you can watch a short ad in return for a reward, such as an extra attempt or saving a streak. An ad appears only when you ask for it, each reward has a daily limit, and it is granted after we verify the view. Premium subscribers get the same rewards with no ad.

5. Points, Streaks, Badges and Leagues

• Points, streaks, badges and league rankings are in-app motivation tools; they have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.
• Manipulating results or using bots or exploits to gain points is not allowed. We may correct points or remove an offender from a league.

6. Acceptable Use

Your display name and profile photo must not be offensive, misleading or infringe anyone's rights. You may not reverse-engineer the app, copy or distribute its content, circumvent the free plan's limits, or misuse its servers.

7. License and Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Tamakn for personal learning. All rights in the app, its design, name, logo and learning content — texts, recordings and images — are reserved to Tamakn and its content partners.

8. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. You may delete your account at any time from inside the app (details).

9. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The updated version is published on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
